Junk September 3, 2010 Gary Tamblin (Rocklin, CA USA) It worked when I first bought it but won't work now. DON'T BUY. It doesn't even deserve one star!
Totally awesome September 2, 2010 Tony Bentley (Seattle, WA, USA) I bought this item a month ago because we have a lamp that needs to be plugged in to use. We keep the remote on the coffee table to we can turn it on and off during movie watching, etc. The other adapters are going to be used for Christmas lights and other outlets later. It works through more than one wall and is nice to be able to select one of three lights to turn on and off.
You'll only get 2 out of 3 of them to work...at best August 29, 2010 Jason Torchio Bought this 3-pack, only really needing 2 - which is a good thing because that's all that worked. The 3 receivers seem to work but not all of the buttons on the remote work so I can only control 2 of the 3 units. In all honesty, I would have paid that much for 2 functioning units but I like to get what I actually pay for - I'm funny that way. I unscrewed the back of the remote to see if perhaps something was loose. The circuit board looked like it had been put through the ringer so I'm hoping it's not a matter of time before the entire remote becomes useless. I do love the technology, just not this execution. Read some of the other reviews - you'll see I'm not the only one who can't get all 3 to work. And from what I understand, the company who makes these has ZERO customer service. Awesome! Caveat emptor.
Only 2 out of 3 work. August 26, 2010 Frank C This seems like an on going problem from the reviews. Not all of them work. How sad is that? You buy a 3 pack and not all of them will work. How pathetic actually.
THE HEIGHT OF CONVENIENCE August 18, 2010 Marci Browne (Hawaii) This is a great convenience tool! We own several speciality lamps that have a small on/off box attached to the electrical cord and the cord hangs off of a table. We found that we were not using the lamps because it was difficult to fish out the electrical cord in order to turn the lamp on/off, so we stopped using the lamps. We purchased the wireless remote kit and found that we are using the lamps everyday now. In addition we use power strips in the office and kitchen and power everything down at the touch of a button...what a great tool!
