1 out of 5 stars it only lasts 20 minutes   December 19, 2009

If your looking to waste you money this is the right product. It never lasts for more then 20 minutes with a very low glow. I have moved it to be in direct sun and found no difference in the product. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

2 out of 5 stars Purchased item for outdoor use   December 9, 2009

My husband and I recently moved back to Germany and due to the voltage difference I thought it would be a good idea to purchase solar/led lights for our outdoor decorations. Unfortunately these lights only lasted 1 night. After that they never came back on; granted there has been the ocassional drizzle of rain from time to time and I always checked to make sure it didn't short circuit or something. Sadly they are still outside and not working. My husband states that one of the sets which was put on one of trees on the front entrance came on for about a good hour, but by the time I got home that night... there was nothing.
I'm dissapointed about this purchase and hope that no one else feels the same.

1 out of 5 stars Not impressed   December 8, 2009

I bought three sets. One never worked at all. They don't stay on more than a couple hours after dark. What I disliked the most was that the lights look blue, not white. I'll stick with my standard electric net lights...they look MUCH better.

2 out of 5 stars Not much better than their String Counterparts   December 7, 2009
Rawkmom (Lafayette Ca 94549)
I these lights last no longer than 3 hours. They have been up for 4 days and I am not getting better results as the batteries have days to charge in the sun. The do however last a whooping 1 hours longer than their string version cousin who crap out on me after only 2 hours. I am completely disappointed with them and recommended anyone consider buying these to save your $20... These will most likely just end up in a landfill. Very Sad

I purchased several sets of these solar lights in December 2009 to supplement our Christmas display in front of the house. With a full day of sun (day time temps high 30's / low 40's; night time temp mid/low 20's) the lights only illuminated for around 2 1/2 hours. It was nice while it lasted but my expectation was at least 6 hours at a minimum. I was intrigued by the rave reviews posted here by previous buyers but maybe they were friends and relatives of the company that makes the product!
